Developer IVPC completes 137 MW over region of Campania

Leading Italian wind plant development company Italian Vento Power Corporation (IVPC) is near to completing a 137.65 MW complex comprising a number of wind farms stretching over different municipalities in the Fortore area of the region of Campania. All the IVPC plant use Vestas turbines. Of the completed projects, 850 kW units have been installed at the 11.05 MW plant in Greci, a combination of 1.8 MW and 2 MW turbines make up the 23.60 MW wind farm in Bisaccia, and 2 MW machines are used for 18 MW at Lacedonia. The four remaining plant, with a combined capacity of 85 MW, are due online by end-March. At Baselice, 3 MW units are going up, while a mix of 1-8 MW and 3 MW machines is being used in an 18 MW plant in Foiano and a 25.2 MW plant in Molinaro. In San Marco dei Cavoti, 1.8 MW and 2 MW turbines are being installed for a combined capacity of 14.8 MW.
