Two exuberant young visitors expressing their delight with Scotland's newest wind farm, at Dalswinton in Dumfries and Galloway, one of more than 100 across Europe that opened its doors to the public last month to celebrate European Wind Day on June 15. Over 2500 people visited the 30 MW project, nearly twice the number expected by its owner, Airtricity.

Over 2500 people visited the 30 MW project, nearly twice the number expected by its owner, Airtricity. The aim of the industry's "open house" was to familiarise people with the technology.
