Some 5000 people participated at The World Sustainable Energy Trade Fair, according to the organisers. Nearly 40% were from overseas, representing 56 countries. A visitor survey also revealed a high percentage of decision makers, particularly from the power industry.
Joint organisers of The World Sustainable Energy Trade Fair, were London based European Media Marketing, a company specialising in promotion of the renewable energy industry, and Amsterdam RAI, of the Netherlands' huge RAI exhibition centre. Both say they were delighted with the exhibition, from the number of stands and their professionalism to the volume and quality of visitors. Some 5000 passed through the turnstiles, nearly half of whom dropped in on the final day. According to the organisers, nearly 40% were from overseas, representing 56 countries. A visitor survey also revealed a high percentage of decision makers, particularly from the power industry," says RAI's Roy Agterbos. Some 60% of the 230 "participating companies" were from outside the Netherlands, say the organisers, though on the exhibition floor companies and organisations were represented by only around 150 stands.
