Tacke Windtechnik expects to sign a co-operation agreement with a new partner in India within the next two months after parting ways with Flovel Tacke Private Limited after a legal dispute (Windpower Monthly, January 1996). The company also expects to have 10 MW of capacity installed in China by the autumn, spread across several projects. Other projects are planned in the UK, Spain, Holland and in Poland, where an improvement in payment for renewables is forecast for this year. Tacke has also started its test programme for the first five of its 1.5 MW machines, one of which is running at a site near Emden. A further four will be installed during the course of 1996, at Kaiser-Wilhelm Koog in Schleswig-Holstein, Vogelsberg in Hessen, Stemwede in North Rhine Westfalia and Dunkirk in France.
