The 10MW Ringstedt II wind farm in the Cruxhaven district in Lower Saxony features five of Gamesa’s G80-2MW turbines. The 8.5MW Gross Hasslow project in Ostpringnitz-Ruppin in the eastern state of Brandenburg is equipped with 10 G58-850kW machines.

Both facilities were developed and operated by Gamesa since their commissioning. The Ringstedt development began operating in 2007 and the Gross Hasslow was switched on in 2004.

Gamesa has developed and commissioned more than 255MW in Germany and currently has a pipeline of around 300MW in the country.

This is the first deal between the two parties. Financial terms were not disclosed.
