Interview with Juliana Vasconcelos of Apex-Brasil

Brazil Windpower 2013: Windpower Monthly Brazil correspondent Alexandre Spatuzza speaks to Juliana Vasconcelos, renewable energy investment officer at the Brazilian government's trade and investment promotion agency, Apex-Brasil

Vasconcelos makes it clear that Brazil is looking to become an export base for the wind power industry.

While the country is still developing its domestic market it is talking to other countries in the region - and even as far afield as South Africa - about exporting goods.

Within three years she expects Brazil to establish itself as an exporter, largely working through the international companies that have established themselves in the country.
