The 81.6-metre blade was developed at Euros' production facility on the island of Rügen, Germany. It has a mass of 32.5 tons. The Sea Angel will be tested at sites in Glasgow, UK and Fukushima, Japan.
Euros said it plans to set up series production in Rostock.
The SeaAngel uses a hydraulic drive system designed by Artemis Intelligent Power, a digital displacement hydraulics technology specialist.
The full hydraulic continuously variable drive system and two conventional fixed-speed brushless synchronous generators, eliminating the need for a power electronic converter.
