On 8 May, Fuhrländer CEO Werner Heer replaced company founder Joachim Fuhrländer as chairman of the company. Fuhrländer also left the management board.
Since then, Jaroslaw Smialek joined Fuhrländer as head of sales and marketing, moving from his previous post as of head of Germany marketing at Siemens wind division.
Fuhrländer's supervisory board has been expanded by two posts, raising the total to six.
The company announced on 12th July 2012 that the new seats are taken by Maksym Yefymov, general director of PJSC Energomashspetsstal Kramatorsk, Ukraine, and Ukrainian lawyer Gennadiy Molchanov.
In May, Fuhrländer announced an order for 20 turbines with 2.5MW each from Yefymov, describing him as a long standing joint venture partner with Fuhrländer.
Last year, the turbine manufacturer became one of the first to enter the Ukranian market. Last year, it has announced plans to manufacture wind turbines at the Kramatorsky Heavy Machine Factory, in the east of the country.
According to Fuhrlander there are plans to produce 2-3 turbines by the end of the current year. The projected volume for 2012 is about 40 turbines.
