PGE EO begins tender for 90MW project

POLAND: PGE EO, renewable arm of Polish power group PGE, has announced a tender for the 10.5MW Resko wind farm.

The farm will comprise seven turbines of capacity at least 1.5MW. According to PGE EO this is just the first phase of Resko project, which will eventually have a capacity of 90MW.

Another Polish power group – Tauron also announced the tender for the construction and delivery of wind turbines for 40MW Wicko wind farm. This is the second attempt to begin the Wicko project.

The company cancelled the first tender as no offer was submitted. Wicko wind farm is to comprise 20 2MW units.

It is not the only project being developed in Wicko county. Last week company Szelf also announced a tender for 10MW wind farm in the county.
