GE agrees to finance 110MW Michigan project

UNITED STATES: GE has announced plans to provide finance for Invenergy's 110MW Gratiot County wind project in Michigan.

The project, which is set to be completed in Q1 2012, will use GE 1.6MW turbines.

Invenergy is also planning to install a further 102.4 MW. In all, GE will supply 133 turbines.

The project has a long-term PPA in place with DTE Energy.
