Nordex announces 2010 17% sales fall

GERMANY: Nordex has announced 2010 sales of €972 million, a 17.7% fall on the previous year.

In its annual results, Nordex said its position was lifted by a strong fourth quarter. The company received €358 million in sales during the period.

Total revenue over the year fell 11% to €1008 million.

Nordex received €836 million in new orders, a 14% increase on the previous year. Nordex CEO Thomas Richterich said he expected 2011’s new business performance to remain at this level.
