The energy company is currently considering the project in Germany’s North Sea, Dong chief executive Anders Eldrup told Reuters.
Dong would initially hold 100% of the project but would look for partners for minority stakes.
Dong purchased the Borkum Riffgrund 1 and 2 projects from PNE Wind in December 2009. The two wind farms would have up to 77 and 96 turbines respectively.
