The order comprises of 25 Vestas V90-1.8 2.0MW turbines designed for medium and low-wind sites.

The project is located in Huianbao, Ningxia, and the turbines are scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter of 2011.

Mr. Ma Fuqiang, Chairman of Master Investment, said at the signing ceremony: "Vestas has demonstrated strong technical capabilities and high level of expertise at the initial stages of the project. We are very pleased to have chosen Vestas as the strategic partner for our wind energy business."

Jens Tommerup, President of Vestas China, said: "The previous order from Master Investment was recognition of our technical strengths. This second order underlines the confidence Master Investment has in our people, our products and our capabilities."

In April this year, Master Investment placed its first-ever wind turbine order with Vestas, 25 units of V90-1.8/2.0MW turbines, totaling 49MW.
